Juniors
U13s Vs Middlewich Bears
Our Under 13’s took on Middlewich Bears and what a game it was! Northwich winning the toss and opting to bat first and making an impressive 150 off 20 overs! Call outs for 3 players retiring on 30, a six which cleared the ground and ended up in Moss Farm and finally some calm heads and steady, impressive play later down the order to protect our wickets. The bowling was incredibly consistent and fielding was equally impressive - with 6 bowled, 3 fantastic catches and a run out! Yet again - a brilliant team effort with all players contributing to the victory. Well done under 13’s - great performance!
U15s Vs Oulton Park CC
WHAT A GAME to complete the junior fixtures this week with the under 15’s at home to Oulton Park and Bunbury. Northwich took the victory but only by 4 runs - games do not get much closer!!! There is one proud coach tonight with this teams performance - 3 players making their under 15’s debut and also getting wickets making it a debut to remember! Also 2 batters making 40 was a fantastic effort and really made the chase hard to catch! Seasons do not start much stronger! Well done team! Great performance.
Nantwich CC Vs U11s
What a lovely sunny night to watch our under 11’s away at Nantwich, who are a talented team and we knew it was going to be a tough game. Although the result did not go our way there was loads of positives to take away! The team collectively took 7 fantastic wickets which included a brilliant direct hit run out! We are incredibly proud of this team tonight which included 4 boys who made their hardball debut and 3 of the team were only on their second hardball game - plenty of learns but a fantastic team spirit and the smiles remain firmly in place!
Holmes Chapel CC Vs U9s
Our under 9’s opened their season with an away fixture against Holmes Chapel! A real team effort secured the victory with a massive nineteen 4’s hit spread across all players! What a fantastic way to start the season! Well done under 9’s!
