Our Junior to Senior transition is embedding well and this weekend we have seen juniors take part in both the 2nd and 3rd team game! Yesterday a number of juniors were given the opportunity to experience senior cricket with the 3rds. With this the result is not our primary concern - the main aim is to provide an atmosphere where our juniors get comfortable, supportive exposure to the senior game. The results were wickets, catches taken, boundaries hit and keeping wicket by our talented juniors!

U13s
Our Under 13’s took on Christleton in the T20 Vitality Cup last Friday and then Haslington in the league on 2nd June. With both games we opened with the bat first and due to some strong bowling from both opponents the total was not enough and they completed the chase. We have a number of positives to take away with batters retiring, some confident wickets taken and some strong fielding! Onwards and upwards - we still have a semi final to looks forward to in the South Cheshire Cup and we go again in the league next Monday

Our Under 9’s travelled to Elworth tonight and made it 5 wins out of 5. Another very solid performance against a talented Elworth team. Northwich put on a great batting performance and followed that with some disciplined bowling which secured a great win. Well done Team! Brilliant start to the season.

To star last weekend our under 9’s played a cup game on Friday night against Oulton Park, loads of supporters were there as our training was on for the juniors and ladies - Northwich did not disappoint!
