After restricting the visitors to 172/8 from their 40 overs, the Northwich openers made light work of the chase. Jamie and Jacob Booty put on an unbeaten opening stand of 173 to see the side home in just 24 overs. Northwich 3rd XI fell to a 6-wicket defeat away to Lymm Oughtrington Park on Sunday. Batting first, Northwich worked hard to post 138 from their full 40 overs, but struggled to build any big partnerships. In reply, the hosts chased down the target in just under 31 overs, despite some committed bowling and fielding efforts from Northwich. U15s
Our U15s wrapped up their season last night against Elworth. While the result didn’t go our way, the progress this team has made is outstanding. Finishing 3rd in a tough league and winning some tight games speaks volumes about their spirit, teamwork, and attitude. This group has built a fun, supportive, and welcoming environment that’s a joy to watch – win or lose. Every player should be proud of what they’ve achieved. A huge thank you to coach Steve Capper for his dedication and guidance – your work with the 15s, 3rd XI, and All Stars has been brilliant. The future is very bright for this group!
