Training is open to all abilities. Whether you're brand new to the game or returning after a break, our ECB-qualified coaches will help you develop your skills in a fun, friendly, and supportive atmosphere. There's no pressure, just great cricket and great company.
Our Women's Team: The Northwich Novas
Our women's team, the Northwich Novas, compete in the Cheshire Women's Cricket League, one of the most vibrant women's cricket leagues in the country, with 49 member clubs running 70 senior women's teams across five divisions, offering both hardball and softball cricket .
The Novas have a proud history of competing at the top of the league, including winning the Central Women's Indoor Softball Cricket League, and we are always looking for new players to add to our squad .
Whether you play hardball or softball, there is a place for you in our women's set-up.
Softball Cricket
Softball cricket is the perfect entry point for anyone new to the game. Designed to be fun, accessible, and welcoming, it is played with a softer, lighter ball, making it ideal for complete beginners. The ECB introduced softball cricket specifically to help more women and girls fall in love with the sport, and it has been a huge success across England and Wales.
Hardball Cricket
For those looking to take their game to the next level, hardball cricket is the full, traditional format of the game. Our ECB-qualified coaches run transition sessions to help softball players make the step up with confidence, and our Novas team compete in hardball league cricket throughout the summer.
Whether your ambition is to play locally, represent the county, or simply challenge yourself, hardball cricket is an incredibly rewarding next step.
Girl's Cricket
We welcome girls of all ages into our junior programme, with a clear pathway from first steps all the way through to senior women's cricket.
Our girl's section caters for players from Year 5 upwards, with training every Friday from 6pm.
